Paula Biagioni
After serving 28 years with the Town of Winchester, Paula currently works for the Town of Arlington and Cataldo Ambulance. As a Dispatcher, she receives and monitors communications, signals, telephone calls and alarms for Police, Fire, EMS, DPW and other emergency services, and is responsible for notifying and dispatching appropriate personnel to respond to such emergencies. As part of her duties as an EMT with Cataldo Ambulance, for the last 19 years Paula has run the First Aid Room for many events (Bruins, Celtics, concerts) held at the Boston Garden, a venue holding over 19,000 people.
Along with her training as a Certified Emergency Medical Dispatcher and her EMT training, Paula is poised to assist in any medical emergencies. She was recognized for her assistance in the apprehension of a felon through the professional and prompt gathering and conveying of valuable information that aided in the apprehension. Paula can provide the important but often forgotten component of communications during a critical incident or a scheduled event.
